Gordon Adler

Our company, now known as 1st Source Servall, was founded as Servall in 1929 by Gordon Adler selling belts and supplies for early washing machine products. As the first authorized distributor for many manufacturers including General Electric, we were recognized at the very beginning as a force within the appliance parts industry.

In 1961 , the company was passed down to Kenneth Adler who continued the traditions of his father, developing close relationships with equipment manufacturers and becoming a leader within the industry. Serving as the Executive Director of the APDA, he was instrumental in convincing OEM's of the need for independent distribution.Kenneth Adler Under Ken Adler's guidance, Servall grew to 12 locations and distributed appliance parts for most of the manufacturers across the Midwest United States.The Servall family has always included the employees, the customers, and our vendors. Ken Adler stressed this point throughout his life. Today, our company is led by third generation owner, Kim Adler, who commands a dedicated team of executives. Together they continue those beliefs of family and service in all aspects of our company.

In 1985 Servall grew our presence in the Michigan market with the acquisition of Park Appliance Parts and moved into the Ohio territory by purchasing Parts America and Appliance Parts Supply. Obtaining these businesses allowed Servall to reach our clients faster and the ability to provide consistently better customer service.
In 2006, Servall successfully completed the acquisition of 1st Source Parts Center, a Texas based distributor with 15 locations in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. 1st Source had a similar heritage and development as Servall and the coming together of our two great companies represented a renewed commitment to our vendors and customers. Appreciating the long and distinguished histories of both companies it was decided that the names would be combined and 1st Source Servall was born.

In 2007, 1st Source Servall completed the acquisition of Standard Appliance Parts Company in Corpus Christi, Texas and the Nunn Company appliance parts division in Lubbock, Texas. In 2009, 1st Source Servall acquired Greer Appliance Parts which allowed us to open branches in Tulsa, OK, Broken Arrow, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, Springfield, MO and Wichita, KS. In 2010, 1st Source Servall expanded our operations, this time to Saddle Brook, NJ, Buffalo, NY, and Albany, NY, ensuring one day shipping service to our numerous customers in the Northeast. In 2011, with the purchase of the Appliance Parts Company of Louisiana, the Alabama Parts Company and the Appliance Parts Company of Mississippi, 1st Source Servall was able to obtain brick and mortar location in all three of those states. These acquisitions provided the ability to ship parts faster as well as give personal attention to the many small appliance businesses with which we had built personal relationships. 1st Source Servall is now the preeminent national appliance parts distributors with over 45 locations nationwide and able to provide 2 day shipping to over 90% of the population.
Also in 2011, wanting to provide an improved customer service involvement with our clients, 1st Source Servall chose to expand our call center operations, allowing a capacity of up to 10,000 calls per day, 363 days per year. Leading the industry once again with the longest call center hours, the company also introduced text message and social media ordering so that clients could easily order parts no matter the platform they happened to be on. These new technologies permitted a better overall experience for our clients who were able to speak one-on-one with a representative and gain help in finding the perfect part for every repair.Call Center

Through Profit Partner Solutions (the 1st Source Servall Web Solution Division), we now offer private label appliance parts web stores as well as private label appliance parts hotlines. Utilizing this service, appliance retailers and service companies can provide source parts on the internet and over the phone, without personnel or inventory, and still earn the profits. Our company has expanded our services to provide website design and hosting, local online directory listing enhancement, social media business page creation as well as logo design services.
